Lindsey Ryan – Live at the brownbread mixtape – Jan 26th 2011

One of North Carolina’s finest musicians, Lindsey Ryan, graced our stage this January. All who were there can attest to a spellbinding performance of beautiful songs by a charming, talented soul. She was ably supported by the lilting violin of Christophe Capewell and the soft percussives of Enda Roche. Lindsey’s dulcid tones and poetic lyrics in her performance of “Postcard” carried us all away on a magical journey that night. Wish you were there!

Lindsey’s bittersweet, delicate song about loss and love managed to weave a spell on the assembled crowd. Once more we were treated to glorious subtle accompaniment from Christophe and Enda on violin and percussion respectively. A hushed room listened attentively as Lindsey marked herself out as a future star.

Lindsey is currently working on her new album in Charlotte, North Carolina and hopes to release it this summer. We look forward to welcoming her back to the stage when she returns to Ireland for her full band tour. For now, you can find out a little more at her Facebook page > Lindsey Ryan on Facebook
