Dublin music sessions feature on 4fortyfour blog: A treasure map of musical gold in Dublin!

The mighty blogging sensation Peter Nagle (the brains behind the highly respected 2uibestow music blog) has written this interesting piece on the 4fortyfour blog about the many different live music (& spoken word) sessions currently happening around Dublin’s fair city. We were delighted to be included in the article, where Kalle spoke enthusiastically about the brownbread mixtape and the magic that surrounds it ( including a shout out to the inimitable Jeff Nelson). The article is well worth a peek in general as it gives a great insight into the many cool and free nights of high calibre entertainment out there in the nation’s capital. There is a real energy and excitement in the live scene at the moment and this article can act as a valuable roadmap to the best spots. So get out there and soak it up. It might just blow your mind.

  1. Why waste money on 50-100 euro tickets for lipsynced rubbish you can see on a telly when you can go to any of these brilliant nights for FREE !

I’ve been lucky enough to play some of these and other sessions around town. Not nearly enough credit is given to the likes of Stephen, Fiach et al who do this for all the right reasons and usually have to put up with nonsense from someone somewhere along the line.

    The *real* arts in action.
