The Brownbread Mixtape – Two Shows at Electric Picnic 2012!

Hello brownbread homeslices. We are very excited to announce that we will have two brownbread mixtape shows at Electric Picnic 2012. We have an exciting selection of performers lined up for our shows on The Word stage in Mindfield. Our show will feature the usual funny audience participation you’ve come to know and love, as well as the rousing alternative national anthem “My Blood is Boiling for Ireland”, as well as sketch comedy from the inimitable Brownbread Players. Also on the bill for our 4pm shows on Saturday Sept 1st and Sunday Sept 2nd will be poets Fergus Costello and John Cummins, as well as the smoky vocals of Elder Roche. We have one more trick up our sleeve but you will have to just come along to the shows to see what that might be. Both shows are due to start at 4pm on both days but, as always, that is subject to change, so keep an eye on our Facebook page and our Twitter feed for show times. We are giddy with excitement about it and can’t wait to bring back the craic like last year. Spread the word and see you all there!
