the brownbread mixtape – March 27th – “the past”

Join us on Wed, March 27th upstairs in the Stag’s Head for our eclectic monthly spoken word, music and comedy show. [ Google+ event here ] The theme of the night is “The Past”and we’ve lined up a deadly set of acts for the occasion. Resident MC Kalle Ryan will be in place to keep the spirits high and the energy up with his Pavlovian “Applause” sign, while resident sound man and sidekick Enda Roche will be in the corner making it all sound good.

For an absolute bargain of 5 EURO you will get to hear some of the very best musicians, comedians and spoken word performers  working in Ireland today! And, as if that wasn’t enough, our resident sketch comedy troupe will have some fresh, new radio style sketches for your pleasure. Plus you will receive a delicious complimentary Jameson & Ginger Ale in return for walking in the door and parting with that fiver. Or just a Ginger Ale if you are of the non-alcohol drinking persuasion.

The following outstanding artists will be performing on the night…

‘Something quite extraordinary’ –  The Dubliner

‘Their high-octane propulsion and driving dogmatic rhythms mark them out from the crowd’ – The Irish Times

Ferdia Lennon
