We were massively honoured to have our monthly gig showcased on the first ever Poetry Programme on RTE Radio 1 yesterday (Jan 24th 2015). It’s great to see our national broadcaster shining a spotlight on poetry in all its forms, particularly the emphasis on spoken word. We wear it as a huge badge of honour to have our show be the first snapshot of spoken word for many listeners in Ireland. It’s an exciting time for the artform. The rest of the show is very enjoyable too with an interview with Liz Lochhead, as well as a great reinterpretation of Yeats by Stephen James Smith & Enda Reilly. Long may the show continue and we wish the team working on it well.
